It’s time to step up your Sunday game. Beginning January 22, at 7–9 p.m., and every third Sunday per month after, you can hit South Street’s Rex1516 for a special Sunday Supper with Aston’s 2SP Brewing Company.
The restaurant’s busting out overflowing $30 BBQ plates and $10 pitchers of 2SP Cold Cock all evening long. The BBQ’y plates in question will include smoked brisket, pork, hot link sausage, bread, pickles and onions and your choice of two sides. (Jan. 22’s sides are slated to be potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and macaroni salad.) Memphis and Texas BBQ sauces will also be available to elevate their smoky meats.
Each plate will come with the option to purchase $10 pitchers of 2SP Cold Cock, brewer Bob Barrar’s aggressive English-style IPA that he touts as his favorite beer he has brewed thus far at 2SP. The lively beer shows a range of floral, earthy and fruity notes that comes from the inclusion of Fuggels and Golding hops. Plus, it’s only 6% ABV.
