Looking for last-minute Saturday plans? Keystone Homebrew Supply of Montgomeryville, Pa., will host a rare chance for you to learn how a pro brewery designs a successful beer. Tomorrow, April 15, 1–7 p.m., the Tröegs Independent Brewing team will flood the home-brew supply HQ for the Evolution of a Scratch Beer event, to discuss how their Crimson Pistil Hibiscus IPA evolved from a one-off scratch beers and to a well-known spring seasonal release.
The day’s schedule will be as follows: Tröegs’ brewers will be on hand from 1–3 p.m. for a beer Q&A, followed by a Tröegs Tap Takeover in the Stone & Key Cellars‘ tasting room until 7 p.m. From noon–7 p.m., the Chef Johnny Bravo’s Surf N Turf food truck will be on hand for your grubbing pleasure, and from 2–4 p.m. Keystone will be featuring games and fun giveaway. Wait—there’s more. At 4:40 p.m., they’ll even be hosting live music from Stella & The Voodoo Fish.
