Dogfish Head Teams Up With Crosley Radio to Hit 29 Cities in Celebration of Record Store Day

Big supporter of Record Store Day? Lucky for you, Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is pulling out all the musical stops for its 10th anniversary unfolding April 21–22, 2017. In partnership with Crosley Radio, the acclaimed architect of the iconic turntable, the Delaware-HQ’d brewery kicked off a two-month city tour of independent record stores and beer bars, sharing the love of vinyl, analog music and beer.

The tour—coined the “Dogfish Head x Crosley Cruiser—began in Louisville, KY, on Friday, March 3, and ends in our dear City of Brotherly Love on Record Store Day, Saturday, April 22. From March through April, the Dogfish Head x Crosley Cruiser will visit 29 cities stopping at independent record stores and craft beer bars to celebrate and spread appreciation for music, indie record stores, original artwork, Crosley record players and off-centered beers.

Beer to Drink Music To ’17, Dogfish

In preparation for the 10th anniversary of Record Store Day, Dogfish also released an official beer—Beer to Drink Music To ’17—which began shipping nationwide on February 1, 2017. Beer to Drink Music To ’17 features an ensemble of hibiscus flowers and kiwi juice, with strong citrus fruit aromas, hints of grapefruit and floral notes, with a crisp, dry finish. It’s pinkish-red with a white head, light-bodied and clocks in at 6.8% ABV.

There’s also an official record as part of the celebration—Music To Drink Beer To, Vol. 3.—which Sam Calagione and Adam Block (Sony Music Legacy Recordings president) selected a collection of their favorite tracks while chatting all things vintage vinyl and craft beer. (More on that here.)
