La Cabra Releases First Bottled Beer

Berwyn’s La Cabra Brewing just announced their first ever bottle release. The brewery, which has been open for about six months now, will kick off it’s Aleatory Series releases with an American wild ale brewed with raspberries and the best part is, there won’t be any lawn chairs required to get yourself a bottle.

The Sour ale, brewed with 500 pounds of raspberries, was aged in virgin oak barrels for several months. To get a bottle, you can go on their website and reserve a bottle now. La Cabra has allocated half of the batch for online sales which are available right now. At the time of putting this together, there were 70 bottles available, so act fast as these certainly won’t last.

Online bottles cost $19 and will be available at will call on April 10th, the day of the release. If you miss out on the online sales, the rest of the allotment will go up for sale that day as well on a first come basis. The bottles will be $18 at the door.
