Levante at the Stables in Chester Springs officially opens at 4:00 today, June 15th.

160 Park Rd.,
June 15th marks the opening of Levante at the Stables, a new beer garden from Levante Brewing, the West Chester brewery who recently won Small Brewery of the Year at the Best of the Philly Beer Scene Awards.
“We wanted a destination brewery, something like Hill Farmstead or Ommegang,” said Eric Santostefano, Levante’s president. “We do a lot of work with Split Rail Tavern and they found a farm up in Chester Springs. We were talking one night and we decided that a beer garden would be a perfect first step towards opening a location like that.”
The beer garden will be 95% outdoors and seasonal but Levante hopes, in cooperation with Split Rail, that it grows into a year-round brewpub and restaurant inside the barn.
Sixteen Levante taps will be featured at the garden, as well as two rotating guest taps. PA liquor and wine from Paradox Vineyard, Chaddsford Winery, Va La Vineyards, Manatawny Still Works, Bluebird Distilling and others will be also be served.
“Chester Springs is an amazing area,” said Santostefano. “It’s close enough that it will be manageable for us but far enough away to be a destination and bring in a new customer base.”
Levante at the Stables will open June 15th and will run as long as warm weather permits. Opening weekend coincides with Upper Uwchlan Township’s 9th Annual Block Party on Route 100, a local celebration with an expected attendance of 5-6,000 people and a myriad local vendors. The party will be adjacent to the new Levante location and the brewery is excited to meet their new neighbors.
Also on Levante’s calendar is their second anniversary party to be held June 10th at their Westchester location. Tickets and more info on the event can be found here.
