Hard to believe it was already two years ago that Crime & Punishment Brewing Co. (C&P), brought a brewery back to Brewerytown. The Philadelphia neighborhood, once known for its prominent brewing scene, had been devoid of brewing for years until C&P opened it’s doors. Now, the brewery is turning two, and on July 15th, they’re throwing a huge party to celebrate.
C&P will be taking over the lot on 27th and Girard, and hosting a slew of outdoor activities for your enjoyment. There will be games, arts, and crafts throughout the day and they’ll be roasting a whole pig to snack on. As for beers, they’ll be tapping some beers that have been stowed away for the occasion as well as tapping a few new beers in honor of the occasion.
One of the beers to be released will be their first ever bottled saison. Sofya is a saison that spent time in both chardonnay and sauvignon blanc barrels. The beautiful label adorning the bottle was designed by local artist Serena Niesley. Bottles will be $16 and will be limited to one-per-person, though that number may change depending on early demand.
The party itself will run from noon till midnight.
