Osteria is stepping up its beer dinner game but inviting Deer Creek Malthouse in to host not only a malt-inspired dinner, but also a homebrew demo for its guests. Deer Creek, Pennsylvania’s first commercial malthouse since prohibition, has shaped many of our local breweries since its start in 2012, providing sustainably farmed malted barley to notable, local breweries including Victory, Vault, Free Will, Troegs and more.
But, about the event … On Tues., Sept. 26, beginning at 6:30 p.m., Deer Creek Malthouse‘s Mark Brault will lead the night’s “dinner and a show,” with the “show” being a guided demonstration of homebrewing techniques hosted as diners enjoy three courses of malt-inspired foods created by Chef Jeff Michaud. Each course will be expertly paired with beers or cocktails, including two beers created by chef Michaud under Mark’s tutelage.
Cost of the event is $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Cost includes instruction, 3-course dinner and beverage pairings. Reservations are required for the dinner, so get to booking—call 215-763-0920 or CLICK HERE for reservations.
