Have you made the trip to the Philly ‘burbs to visit the newer Suburban Restaurant & Beer Garden? (Opened March 2017.) If not, take advantage of this opportunity: the Exton-based beer bar and restaurant will be hosting its first-ever Oktoberfest celebration, slated to unfold Saturday, September 23, 2–6 p.m.
The first annual event will be offering over 40 draft beers from 12 local craft breweries. Participating breweries include: Sterling Pig Beer, Free Will Brewing Company, Levante Brewing, Stickman Brews, Root Down Brewing Company, LaCabra Beer, Conshohocken Brewing Company, Rivertown Brewing, Locust Lane Craft Brewery, Tröegs Independent Brewing, Spring House Brewing Company and Wyndridge Farm.
Additionally, live music will be a part of the event with Tim Celfo & the Celfonics taking stage. Suburban’s full menu will also be available for your grubbing pleasure. (Scope it in advance here.)
General admission tickets are going for $50 a pop, while VIP tickets are costing $65 per person. For VIP, you’ll get in the gates at 2 p.m., score complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a large format bottle tasting, and a swag bag put together by the participating breweries.
