Northern Liberties-based Urban Village Brewing Company is diving into the fall season by hosting the first (of what will be monthly) six-course beer dinner on Thursday, October 26, starting at 7 p.m. Beer fans will be able to enjoy the bounty of the season over a harvest-inspired meal, each course paired with a select UV beer—straight from the tank!
The full menu for the night’s tasting will be as follows:
Arrival beer: C.P.A. pale ale
First course: Wrong Way IPA paired with mini pretzels with spicy cheese sauce
Second course: Apricot Witbier paired with seared swordfish accented with pine nut remoulade
Third course: Rye Bread IPA paired with beet ravioli
Fourth course: Oatis Stout paired with skirt steak atop turnip puree
Fifth course: Stingy Jack Pumpkin Ale paired with crispy duck with mild pickled black berries
Sixth course: Tyson Barrel Aged Stout paired with pumpkin cheesecake
